This season Draíocht will collaborate once again with the Irish Film Institutes Education Programme by screening the film 'A Jar Full of Life / Vielmachglas' for Senior Cycle Secondary School Students, in German (with English subtitles). Recommended age: 15+

'A Jar Full of Life / Vielmachglas' is a contemporary comedy/drama about Marleen, a young woman in her early 20s, struggling to find her way in the world. At a loss when her older brother dies in a tragic accident, she decides to remember him by completing a voyage to Antarctica that he had planned himself. Marlene’s subsequent road trip across Germany, during which she rescues a goat, finds new friends, and fills her “jar full of life”, makes for a fun take on a coming-of-age comedy.
